College Spark Washington (CSW) is excited to announce an opening for a Senior Administrative Manager, a senior-level administrative and operational role that is essential to the day-to-day functioning and long-term success of our organization.

This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer and provides high-level administrative, financial, and operational support to the CFO, CEO, and Board of Trustees. The Senior Administrative Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that our systems, processes, and people are supported so that our team can stay focused on what matters most: advancing postsecondary access and success and dismantling racism in education.

About the Role

The Senior Administrative Manager is a trusted partner to organizational leadership and a key hub for administrative excellence. This role blends executive administrative support, finance and payroll coordination, HR and benefits administration, and general office operations. It is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and energized by supporting a mission-driven organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing executive-level administrative support to the CEO, CFO, and Board
  • Supporting Board operations, onboarding, governance processes, and meetings
  • Assisting with accounting, payroll, benefits, and financial reporting under the direction of the CFO
  • Supporting HR operations, employee onboarding and offboarding, and policy administration
  • Managing office operations, vendor relationships, records, and technology systems

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a collaborative problem-solver who brings strong administrative and financial skills, sound judgment, and a deep commitment to equity and social justice. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing multiple priorities, handling confidential information with discretion, and taking initiative in a small-team environment.

Experience in nonprofit, education, government, or foundation settings is preferred.
